After a quick glance at the Nike Lebron 12 Low ‘Wolf Grey,’ I immediately rode the wave of retro runner nostalgia. It’s like the old Zoom Spiridons blended in with the heel colors from the original Shox R4 and the results are some marvelous low-cut hoop kicks.
In my eyes, the LBJ Lows are far better than their higher cut counterpart, partly due to the vast difference in appearance. The design team behind the shoes gets a tip of the hat for putting serious thought into the Lows and creating something with its own identity. This should be good news to buyers who want some variety from Nike Basketball, including some options that are easier on the wallet.
The Nike Lebron 12 Low ‘Wolf Grey’ releases June 4. Retail is $150.
