With the all-red ‘V8’ version and the patriotic ‘July 4th’ pair already in stores, Nike Basketball and Kevin Durant share new details for additional KD8 colorways on the horizon. By now, fans and followers of Durant’s signature series know that he and designer Leo Chang draw from the OKC star’s past to create color schemes that adorn the kicks. And for his eighth sig shoe, things are no different as the storytelling continues.
“The KD8 V8 colorway pulls inspiration from Durant’s Camaro, a physical reminder of the rewards of hard work. Durant’s workouts at Hunt’s Hill, which began at age 11, lend inspiration to the KD8 Hunt’s Hill Sunrise and KD8 Hunt’s Hill Night colorways. Durant’s 2013-14 MVP honor comes alive in the KD8 Suit colorway.”
