Nike’s annual Black History Month Collection returns this month with a full range of footwear and apparel from the both Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand as well as extended offerings from Nike Sportswear that now include soccer and skateboarding. Most of the gear in the set comes in black and white highlighted by a new BHM print. Overall, simplicity wins here and, while the collection as a whole doesn’t feel overwhelming, it’s one of the better ones Nike’s done. I say that because there’s at least one shoe that stands out depending on your preferences in models, so there’s something for everybody here.
The full 2015 BHM Collection will be available globally at Nike.com and select retail locations beginning January 17. A portion of the proceeds go to the Ever Higher Fund, “which supports organizations that leverage the power of sport to maximize the potential of underserved youth.”
