A different kind of Penny is dropping Saturday. The Copper theme made the jump to the oft maligned Flightposite and the results are in: they’re as clean as a broke d*ck dog.
There’s really not much to say about the Air Flightposite 2014 Premium ‘Copper.” A copper-colored upper, black shroud and laces. One noticeable change is the ice sole’s so bright it looks spit-shined. The pics show a return to the greyish translucent ice sole instead of the recent releases that had blue dye mixed into them. That means soles that yellow faster, but a truer ice color when first broken out of the box.
As all Nike heads know, you’ve got to take the good with the bad. The bad in this case is a price hike to reflect the Premium designation. Why are these premium? Maybe it’s the Posite material used. Or maybe they fixed the issue with the medial side of the soles. Or maybe they just know we’ll be lemming it up and copping these off of general principle. Who knows, man. But, then again, who cares?
The Nike Air Flightposite 2014 Premium ‘Copper’ releases September 20th. Retail is $220.
