If this Nike “What The” KD 7 ends up being the final installment for the Durantula’s seventh go at a signature, what a curtain call. As with all “What The” drops, the shoes are pure chaos and a mishmash of at least 10 colors thrown onto one palette. And I love it.
As loud as this release looks, what helps subdue some of the outright gaudiness is the white mesh overlay covering the upper. Reflective 3M material adds to the theme of packing just the right amount of lunacy into a solid pair of performance shoes. A true melting pot, indeed.
The Nike “What The”‘ KD 7 will be released on June 20. Retail is $200.
